Sales Executive – Occupational Health & Hygiene

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is hiring a Sales Executive to join a fast‑growing occupational health and hygiene provider in Manchester. You will drive new business and nurture existing client relationships, delivering tailored health and safety solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple industry sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Generate sales through proactive business development, networking and referrals.
• Prepare and deliver customised proposals and presentations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to contract completion.
• Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay up‑to‑date with occupational health, hygiene and workplace compliance requirements.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or Manager.
• Proven sales and business development experience within the occupational health surveillance and hygiene sector.
• Strong understanding of occupational health services and workplace compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach.
