Sales Manager – Industrial Process Equipment

About the role

This position is for a technical sales professional with a background in the process industry. You will work for a specialist manufacturer of air‑pollution and odour control equipment, supporting utility and chemical processing clients across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive commercial bids from inception to award, ensuring technical and specification compliance.
• Prepare detailed technical quotations and costings to meet customer requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to source parts, services and negotiate pricing and payment terms.
• Collaborate with internal estimating and proposals teams to produce accurate, compliant proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and manage the full sales cycle.

Required profile

• Technical degree preferred or equivalent experience in chemical, engineering, environmental or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Proven experience selling technical products, engineered solutions or process equipment into industrial markets.
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage costings, pricing and contract negotiations.
