Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser – Warm Leads, Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a CeMAP‑qualified Mortgage Adviser to join a well‑established, whole‑of‑market brokerage serving the West Midlands. The role is self‑employed and home‑based, but you must be able to cover Birmingham and surrounding areas to meet clients. You will work with a steady flow of pre‑qualified, warm leads, allowing you to focus on advice and conversions rather than cold prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mortgage and protection advice to warm, pre‑qualified leads.
• Manage the end‑to‑end application process, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
• Maintain high standards of client care and case management.
• Collaborate with back‑office, admin and compliance teams to streamline submissions.
• Attend client meetings across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands as required.

Required profile

• CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification with proven mortgage advisory experience.
• Demonstrated track record in mortgage and protection advice.
• Comfortable operating as a self‑employed professional.
• Strong client‑care focus, compliance awareness and case‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to convert warm leads into completions.
• Based in Birmingham or able to comfortably cover the area.
