SEND Administrator – School Support Role

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Administrator to join a Manchester secondary school’s SEND department from September. The role provides essential administrative support to the SENDCo and wider school team, ensuring smooth delivery of Education, Health & Care Plans for vulnerable pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to the SEND department and school staff.
- Assist with the preparation, processing and monitoring of Education, Health & Care Plans.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to SEND pupils.
- Conduct regular check‑ins with a caseload of vulnerable students.
- Coordinate communication between SENDCo, teachers, parents and external agencies.
Required profile
- Experience or knowledge of SEND and school administration systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficient with a range of office software and systems.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
Required skills
- Office software proficiency (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email).
