Senior Affordable Housing Solicitor

About the role

Join one of the UK's largest Housing, Development & Regeneration teams as a Senior Affordable Housing Solicitor. You will provide commercial legal advice to a portfolio of registered providers, investors, developers and public sector organisations on high‑value affordable housing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on acquisitions, disposals and Section 106 transactions.
• Draft and negotiate development agreements, grant funding arrangements and joint venture documentation.
• Support portfolio acquisitions and corporate matters for institutional investors.
• Collaborate with planning, construction, finance, tax and corporate teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of six years PQE in affordable housing, residential development, commercial property or a related real‑estate discipline.
• Strong technical legal knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Proactive, ambitious and eager to build long‑term client relationships.
• Willingness to contribute to the growth of the practice, whether already specialised or transitioning from a broader property background.
