About the role

A leading international Legal 500 defendant firm in Manchester is looking for an experienced senior solicitor to join its nationally recognised Catastrophic Injury team. The role involves leading high‑value injury claims and working with major insurer clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex catastrophic injury cases, including motor, employer’s liability and public liability claims.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies using the firm’s innovative technology.
• Collaborate with senior partners and support staff to achieve optimal outcomes for insurer clients.
• Maintain client relationships and provide expert legal advice throughout the case lifecycle.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with a strong background in defendant catastrophic injury matters.
• Proven experience handling high‑value, complex injury claims.
• Excellent analytical and case‑management skills.
