Senior Digital Business Analyst – Energy (London)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Digital Business Analyst to join a leading energy and commodities organisation in London. The role sits at the core of the company’s digital transformation, focusing on middle‑office change across the trading business.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business requirements for middle‑office systems, including trade lifecycle visibility, P&L and exposure reporting.
• Facilitate workshops with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Back Office and Technology teams to translate needs into data‑driven solutions.
• Prioritise enhancements, manage dependencies and support the full application lifecycle from design to delivery.
• Drive optimisation of workflows, reconciliations and operational controls.
• Support migration of applications towards cloud‑native, data‑centric architectures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT‑focused environment within energy or commodities trading.
• Strong understanding of middle‑office processes and the technology that underpins them.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, live trading environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.
