Senior Employment Solicitor (5-8 years PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor to join our Birmingham office. The role is a senior associate position, requiring 5‑8 years post‑qualification experience in employment law, and will involve delivering high‑quality legal advice to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive employment law counsel to corporate and individual clients.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment contracts, policies and dispute documentation.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and tribunal proceedings.
• Lead and mentor junior team members on complex matters.
• Develop business through client relationship management and new client acquisition.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years PQE in employment law.
• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• Employment law expertise (contracts, disputes, tribunals).
• Legal research and drafting.
• Negotiation and advocacy.
