Senior Employment Solicitor – 5-8 years PQE

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor to join our Birmingham office. The role is designed for a professional with 5‑8 years post‑qualification experience who will contribute to our growing employment law practice and support our client‑focused approach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on all aspects of employment law to a diverse client base.
• Lead and manage complex employment disputes, negotiations and tribunal proceedings.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedural documents.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislative changes and industry trends.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years PQE in employment law, preferably within a law firm environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
