Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

A well‑established organisation is seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to work closely with senior operational stakeholders. The role is highly visible, combining commercial insight with financial planning to influence business decisions through analysis, forecasting and strategic support. It operates on a hybrid model, requiring 2‑3 days per week in the Birmingham office.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior operational leaders to provide financial insight.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles.
• Develop financial models and conduct scenario analysis.
• Perform variance analysis and produce performance reports.
• Create business cases and deliver commercial recommendations.
• Challenge assumptions and influence decision‑making.
• Support continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or FP&A professional.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical abilities.
• Confident building financial models and business cases.
