About the role
My client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Linux Administrator to join a high‑profile programme in Reading. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining Linux infrastructure, managing VMware environments, automating tasks, and ensuring platform stability, performance and security.
Key responsibilities
- Support and maintain Linux infrastructure.
- Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
- Automate administration tasks using Ansible and scripting.
- Ensure platform stability, performance and security.
Required profile
- Active DV clearance is mandatory.
- Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL, Rocky Linux or similar).
Required skills
- Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux)
- VMware vSphere / ESXi
- Ansible automation
- Bash / Shell scripting
- Infrastructure troubleshooting
