Senior Menswear Outerwear Designer – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Reiss is looking for a Senior Menswear Outerwear Designer to lead the design and development of seasonal outerwear collections. You will shape modern, elevated pieces that align with the Reiss brand DNA while meeting commercial objectives. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract working closely with Design, Buying and Product Development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the Menswear Outerwear category from concept to final product.
• Research trends, fabrics, colours, competitors and market developments to inform seasonal direction.
• Create collections that balance creativity, commercial viability and the Reiss aesthetic.
• Source and develop new fabrics, trims and materials to bring innovation to the range.
• Collaborate with Product Development to ensure designs are achievable, meet quality standards and margin targets.
• Monitor the competitive market, identify gaps and drive opportunities to strengthen the outerwear offering.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing Menswear Outerwear with strong construction knowledge.
• Creative and commercially minded with an eye for detail, colour, fabric and proportion.
• Confident in researching trends and translating insights into product opportunities.
• Deep understanding of the Reiss aesthetic and ability to produce modern, elevated designs.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple styles and deadlines within a seasonal critical path.
