Senior Mortgage Broker – Lead & Team Leader (Birmingham)

About the role

We are seeking a senior mortgage broker to join an award‑winning financial services provider in Birmingham. The role combines hands‑on mortgage advisory for high‑net‑worth clients with the opportunity to build and lead a new team of brokers over the next 6‑12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert mortgage advice to high‑net‑worth (HNW) clients, managing the full loan application process.
• Develop and nurture relationships with estate‑agency introducers to generate new business.
• Lead the recruitment, training and performance management of a growing team of mortgage brokers.
• Maintain a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no weekend work, ensuring high service standards.
• Collaborate with senior management to drive revenue targets and business growth.

Required profile

• Full CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification.
• Minimum five years of mortgage advisory experience.
• Proven track record working with HNW clientele (preferred).
• Successful experience managing introducer relationships, particularly with estate agencies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to lead and develop a team.
