Senior Product Designer (6-month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design across a portfolio of fintech digital products for NatWest Group. The role is a six‑month fixed‑term position, remote‑first with occasional office collaboration, and will involve end‑to‑end design thinking from user research to high‑fidelity prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the design strategy for multiple digital products, ensuring usability and market success.
• Create journey maps, wireframes, UI mock‑ups and interactive prototypes to communicate concepts.
• Facilitate ideation, brainstorming and critique workshops with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and business teams to solve design challenges.
• Lead user research activities and translate insights into design solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews, knowledge sharing and contribute to playback sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering customer‑focused digital applications, preferably in a fintech or banking environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design, including native mobile experiences.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced and data‑driven setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• User research methods and their application to design.
• Creation of journey maps, UX wireframes, high‑fidelity UI and interactive prototypes.
• Facilitation of workshops and stakeholder presentations.
