About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Claims Handler to join our commercial claims team in Manchester. You will work closely with designated adjusters to ensure the efficient and successful resolution of allocated property claims, providing technical assistance throughout the process.
Key responsibilities
- Assist adjusters in handling commercial property claims from inception to settlement.
- Analyse material damage and business interruption aspects of each claim.
- Manage and mentor a team of claims technicians, overseeing daily office operations.
- Maintain accurate claim records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Support the regional office with general administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Proven experience in commercial property claims handling.
- Strong understanding of material damage assessment and business interruption.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and operational skills.
- Ability to lead and develop junior claims staff.
