Senior Residential Litigation Solicitor – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Residential Litigation Solicitor to join our Manchester office. The successful candidate will become a key member of a nationally recognised residential property disputes team, handling complex leasehold and building‑safety matters for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on residential leasehold management, service‑charge, enfranchisement, Right to Manage, forfeiture, possession and building‑safety disputes.
• Manage and lead litigation matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, statements of case and settlement agreements.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, allocating work and reviewing their outputs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships across private, public and social housing sectors.
• Contribute to business‑development initiatives and help grow the firm’s presence in the North West market.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in property litigation, with a strong focus on residential leasehold matters.
• Demonstrated experience advising on enfranchisement and Right to Manage claims.
• Excellent technical and drafting abilities.
• Commercially minded with proven client‑relationship skills.
• Interest in business development and networking.
