SEO Manager – Digital Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead the organic search strategy for a fast‑growing media agency based in Manchester. Working three days a week on‑site, you will shape SEO programmes across a diverse client portfolio, driving measurable traffic growth and acting as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end SEO strategies for multiple client accounts.
• Identify growth opportunities through technical, on‑page and off‑page analysis.
• Serve as the primary SEO contact for clients, delivering insights and strategic recommendations.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with PPC, content and digital PR teams.
• Lead performance analysis, reporting and continuous optimisation.
• Support new‑business activities through audits, proposals and pitch participation.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, implementing best practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency environment.
• Proven track record of delivering organic growth for varied clients.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in client‑facing roles.
