Service Advisor – Automotive After‑sales (Wokingham)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, customer‑focused Service Advisor to join our after‑sales team at a professional dealership in Wokingham. The role offers a healthy work‑life balance with a Monday‑Friday schedule and no weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional service.
• Book vehicles for servicing, MOTs, diagnostics and repairs.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain required work in clear, customer‑friendly language.
• Liaise with workshop technicians to monitor repair progress and keep customers updated.
• Obtain authorisation for any additional work and produce invoices.
• Arrange smooth vehicle hand‑overs and promote relevant products and services.
• Maintain accurate records using the dealer management system and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy after‑sales environment.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
