Service Advisor – VAG Dealership (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a well‑established VAG main dealership in Manchester. The role is the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth, professional after‑sales experience from booking to vehicle collection.

Key responsibilities

• Book vehicles for servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Provide customers with clear updates on vehicle progress and required work.
• Liaise closely with technicians and the workshop team.
• Upsell additional work while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Produce accurate job cards, invoices and service documentation.
• Deliver a first‑class after‑sales experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Service Advisor or similar after‑sales role.
• Experience in a main dealer environment is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a busy, target‑driven environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
