Software & Data Installation Technician

About the role

The Software & Data Installation Technician is responsible for deploying software solutions for customers, from initial installation through to go‑live and handover. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the role ensures implementations are accurate, reliable and aligned with agreed requirements and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and deploy software solutions, including associated data builds, both remotely and on‑site.
• Deliver end‑to‑end implementations, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and timelines.
• Test software thoroughly to confirm functionality and performance before go‑live.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during installation, testing or deployment.
• Produce clear documentation, including customer sign‑off materials and comprehensive handover documents for Support teams.
• Manage multiple implementations concurrently while maintaining strong organisation and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written documentation skills for customer sign‑off and handover.
• Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
