Solicitor / Associate – Insurance Fraud Litigation

About the role

DWF is looking for a commercially‑minded Solicitor or Associate to join its nationally recognised Insurance Fraud team. You will work on high‑value, complex fraud claims for major insurers, helping to protect their interests while developing your own legal expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex fraudulent claims, including motor, EL/PL, staged accidents and organised fraud rings.
• Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to their training and development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering strategic and technical advice.
• Support business development initiatives to grow the Fraud practice.
• Develop litigation strategy, advocacy and trial preparation for technically challenging matters.

Required profile

• 2+ years PQE with experience in insurance fraud, personal injury or catastrophic injury (claimant or defendant).
• Proven ability to manage a complex caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Commercial acumen and a commitment to excellent client service.
• Proactive approach to case strategy, innovation and cost management.
