Solution Architect (UK)

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Solution Architect to work across the United Kingdom, travelling to client sites on an ad‑hoc basis. The role involves designing end‑to‑end solutions that meet both functional and non‑functional requirements for a range of business services.

Key responsibilities

• Define creative, holistic solutions for business problems.
• Develop architectural road‑maps for systems and services.
• Describe solutions using industry‑standard modelling notations.
• Document standards and guidelines to steer solution delivery.
• Ensure final products conform to architectural principles and standards.
• Contribute to practice development through thought leadership and innovative service offerings.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of open source, open standards and cloud technologies.
• Good understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and approaches.
• Excellent grasp of design patterns and modelling notations.
• Knowledge of integration techniques, architecture patterns and non‑functional drivers.
• Experience leading development teams from a design and technical perspective.
• Quality‑assurance skills to assess deliverable completeness.
• Familiarity with both traditional and agile delivery methods.
