Solutions Engineering Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead and grow our presales function in London. Reporting to the VP of Solutions Engineering, this founding leadership role will establish the discipline from the ground up, shape the regional playbook and collaborate across the business to share best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, ramp and develop a team of 5‑10 Solutions Engineers, conducting regular 1:1s, deal reviews and career development conversations.
• Design and evolve demo methodology across Studio, Roleplay Sessions and Interactive Avatars to demonstrate business value quickly.
• Execute core presales motions – research, discovery, demos, workshops, Proofs of Concept, champion building and handover to Customer Success – with consistency across the team.
• Own forecasting, pipeline hygiene and performance reporting, partnering with Sales leadership on account and territory strategy.
• Gather field feedback, product gaps and competitive intelligence and route them to Product, Product Marketing and SE leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting, managing and developing Solutions Engineering or presales teams, including full employee life‑cycle responsibilities.
• Track record of improving team performance through coaching, hands‑on deal support and consistent execution of an established presales process.
• Comfortable owning forecasting, pipeline hygiene and performance reporting from a presales perspective.
• Fluent in MEDDPICC and Command of the Message frameworks with the ability to coach others.
• Clear, inclusive communicator who can shift between deep technical detail and executive‑level value narratives.
