About the role
We are seeking a caring and committed Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support students at a SEND school in South Croydon (CR0). You will help young people develop confidence, independence and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Support students with SEND both inside and outside the classroom.
- Work one‑to‑one and in small groups to address individual needs.
- Help create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff.
Required profile
- Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive and flexible approach.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
