Store Manager – Coffee Retail

About the role

As the Store Manager for Costa Coffee in Preston, you will own the day‑to‑day operations of a busy coffee shop. You will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining brand standards, and leading a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage controllable costs by overseeing stock, labour, cash handling and training.
• Monitor and analyse store KPI reports, Costa Check and Listen and Learn data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Inspire and motivate the team, celebrating successes and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure health and safety compliance within the store.
• Recruit, coach and develop team members to reach their full potential.

Required profile

• Passion for coffee and people.
• Previous management experience in a fast‑paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to maximise sales opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand standards.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and lead a team at speed.
