Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role in Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a brand‑new, high‑traffic retail store in Manchester. The role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences while meeting commercial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the store team to achieve sales targets and high service standards.
• Act as a visible, hands‑on leader, working alongside staff to drive performance.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations including stock control, visual merchandising, compliance and health & safety.
• Analyse sales data, monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve commercial performance.
• Recruit, train, coach and retain talent to maximise store performance.
• Maintain excellent retail standards across presentation and customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or senior retail leader.
• Proven ability to manage a fast‑paced retail environment with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Strong people‑management skills and a track record of developing teams.
• Commercially focused with experience meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Passionate about retail, customer service and creating memorable experiences.
