Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (South East London)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking supply teachers to cover a range of secondary schools across South East London, including Bromley, Greenwich, Bexley, Southwark and Lewisham. The role is flexible, offering day‑to‑day assignments with the possibility of longer‑term cover where schools require extended support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons to secondary pupils.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and act as a positive role model.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and school procedures.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
• Provide accurate attendance and progress records as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, EYTS or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a UK secondary school.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS registration (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references.
