Talent Acquisition Lead – First Recruiter at Conduct

About the role

Conduct is looking for its first dedicated recruiter to own the entire talent acquisition function. You will shape the hiring process from the ground up, working directly with founders and hiring managers to attract top engineering, product, and go‑to‑market talent.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for all roles, from outreach to signed offer.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and calibrate hiring standards.
• Build and maintain recruiting infrastructure, including ATS configuration, scorecards, sourcing playbooks and templates.
• Source, screen, schedule, and manage pipelines for engineering, product, and GTM positions.
• Deliver a fast, warm candidate experience that leaves a positive impression of Conduct.
• Manage external recruiting partners when needed and know when to engage them.
• Shape employer branding by crafting job specs and communicating Conduct’s vision to candidates.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on recruiting experience, preferably in fast‑growing tech companies.
• Proven ability to define and execute high‑quality hiring processes without inheriting existing frameworks.
• Strong technical recruiting background, having closed software engineers, staff engineers and product designers.
• Creative sourcing instincts – able to build pipelines beyond standard job boards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of building trust with technical candidates and senior stakeholders.
