Tax Senior – Personal & Corporate Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an ATT‑qualified Tax Senior to join a forward‑thinking accountancy practice in Bootle. You will manage a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate clients, delivering practical tax advice and planning strategies while supporting your professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients across multiple sectors.
• Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns.
• Support the delivery of tailored tax planning strategies.
• Prepare and process P11D forms.
• Handle ad‑hoc personal and corporate tax queries.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Act as the day‑to‑day point of contact, building long‑lasting client relationships.
• Provide clear, practical tax advice and identify value‑adding opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues across tax and accounts teams.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within filing deadlines.

Required profile

• ATT qualified and either studying towards CTA or ready to begin CTA studies.
• Mixed tax experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Comfortable managing both personal and corporate tax compliance work.
• Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven and organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Collaborative, ambitious and keen to develop technically.
