Technical Business Analyst – IAM & Microsoft Entra (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a Microsoft Solutions Partner delivering Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The role is remote‑first with an office base in Edinburgh and involves working on high‑impact projects for UK and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support requirements‑gathering workshops with customers.
• Document business needs, processes and pain points, producing functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into clear acceptance criteria and create process flows, use cases and sequence diagrams.
• Support agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning and defining testable goals.
• Act as the bridge between customers, architects and development teams.

Required profile

• Strong Business Analyst experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders both technical and non‑technical.
• Experience delivering solutions in cloud‑based environments.
• Comfortable working in agile/SCRUM teams and handling ambiguity.
• Knowledge of GDPR or information governance is a plus.
