Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an eager and enthusiastic Technical Sales Engineer with over three years of experience in technical sales and a solid understanding of the marine industry. The role can be based in the UK or Greece and will involve working with an international client base spanning China, Singapore, Brazil, and Europe to support the company’s sales and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of vessel performance and fuel/emissions savings to develop business cases for rotor‑sail installations.
• Qualify leads and create bespoke technical and commercial proposals tailored to shipowners’ vessel criteria.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance impacts (IMO, CII, EEDI, FuelEU, EU ETS, etc.).
• Serve as the primary contact for technical queries from owners, shipyards, and procurement teams during early project stages.
• Hand over new projects to the implementation team and manage the company CRM system.
• Participate in client meetings, contribute to marketing initiatives, and support business development activities across regions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the marine sector.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in marine engineering, technology, or naval architecture.
• Strong technical background with B2B sales experience.
• Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts to customers.
• Experience working for an international business and cross‑cultural awareness.
• Results‑driven with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to influence stakeholders.
