Tender Manager

About the role

The Tender Manager will sit at the heart of the Commercial Team, shaping bid strategy and driving the delivery of high‑quality, commercially robust proposals for Subsea Robotics and Offshore Projects across the Eastern Hemisphere. This senior position combines leadership, coaching and governance to enhance the company’s tendering processes and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex tenders for Subsea Robotics (SSR) and Offshore Project Groups (OPG), ensuring compliance with commercial work instructions.
• Develop, structure and populate bid pricing models and cost estimates aligned with commercial assumptions and client requirements.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams, acting as the commercial integration point between Projects, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance and senior leadership.
• Facilitate peer reviews of pricing models, cost build‑ups and commercial assumptions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct Bid/No‑Bid evaluations, risk workshops and maintain bid risk registers in line with company risk management processes.
• Lead tender kick‑off meetings, establish execution plans, monitor milestones and drive continuous improvement of win rates and proposal quality.

Required profile

• Significant experience in tender or proposal management, commercial, contracts or project controls within the offshore and service sectors.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex tender submissions, develop pricing models and assess commercial risk.
• Working knowledge of commercial principles, cost estimation, contract review and ROV, survey and vessel operations.
• Relevant qualification such as BSc/HND in Business or equivalent.
