Territory Sales Representative – Birmingham (WV, WR, DY, WS)

About the role

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for growing Crown Lift Trucks’ sales in the Birmingham region, covering the WV, WR, DY and WS districts. The role focuses on generating new business (approximately 80%) while also managing existing customer accounts (20%).

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers within the assigned territory, arranging appointments and delivering product presentations and demonstrations.
• Negotiate pricing, handle objections and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Plan and organise territory activities efficiently, balancing new‑business hunting with account management duties.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record in the electric warehousing equipment sector or a closely related industry such as pallet racking systems.
• Background in materials handling or forklift equipment with a stable employment history.
• Self‑starter with high energy, strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Strong new‑business development and account‑management capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and objection‑handling skills.
• Commercial acumen and solution‑selling ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard email tools.
