Trade Marketing Manager – FMCG (Wholesale/Impulse)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded Trade Marketing Manager to develop and execute shopper‑led activation strategies for our client’s challenger drinks brands across wholesale, convenience and impulse channels. The role sits at the intersection of sales and marketing, working closely with brand and sales teams to ensure a seamless brand experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of brand plans, priorities and distribution targets.
• Collaborate with Brand Managers and the sales team to activate campaigns on time and within budget.
• Translate brand propositions into customer activation plans that drive retailer demand and shopper pull‑through.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer trade‑marketing teams.
• Create design briefs for agency partners and oversee the production of assets and POS materials.
• Manage trade events, including trade shows, award dinners and industry‑specific exhibitions.
• Lead trade PR strategy, ensuring key campaigns and launches are communicated across trade media.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align execution.

Required profile

• Experience in FMCG trade marketing, preferably within the drinks sector.
• Proven ability to develop insight‑led activation plans that align brand strategy with customer execution.
• Strong autonomous working style and ability to thrive in a fast‑growing environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
