Trainee Dental Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly team in Manchester. This full‑time or part‑time position offers hands‑on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship within a modern dental practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare, sterilise and organise instruments and equipment.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow infection‑control, health and safety protocols.
• Support reception duties such as booking appointments and handling queries when needed.

Required profile

• Passion for patient care and a desire to build a career in dental nursing.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to enrol in and complete an approved dental nursing qualification.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination (or first dose) and right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling.
