About the role

Join Virtus Talent as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and start building relationships with leading FMCG brands such as Coca‑Cola and Mars. You will receive structured training, hands‑on mentoring and the autonomy to develop your own desk in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source and headhunt top‑tier candidates for food, drink and FMCG clients.
• Build and maintain strong candidate relationships.
• Support senior consultants on active mandates.
• Collaborate with clients to understand hiring needs and market dynamics.
• Develop specialist market knowledge and grow your own portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated.
• Experience in B2B sales or phone‑based roles (preferred, not essential).
• Demonstrated personal achievements in sport, music, academics or other areas.
• Ambitious, resilient, eager to learn and thrive in a high‑performance setting.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work quickly under pressure.

Required skills

• Basic salary £27,000‑£28,000 per year plus uncapped commission (up to 35%).
