Travel & Tourism Lecturer – Further Education

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Travel & Tourism Lecturers to deliver high‑quality teaching for a range of Further Education providers. You will inspire learners pursuing careers in travel, tourism, hospitality, and aviation, helping them develop industry knowledge and professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Travel & Tourism lessons across multiple levels.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate teaching records in line with college requirements.
• Create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Facilitate understanding of global tourism, destination management, customer service and industry operations.
• Contribute to learner achievement, retention and progression.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, Events Management or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Travel & Tourism in FE, HE, secondary or adult learning settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
