Treasury Analyst (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Premier Foods is seeking a Treasury Analyst on a maternity‑cover basis to support the Group’s cash position, treasury operations and financial controls. The role will be based in Manchester and will work closely with Finance, Tax and Treasury teams to ensure accurate cash flow forecasting, banking activities and treasury reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review month‑end balance‑sheet reconciliations and support treasury reporting.
• Monitor bank accounts, manage day‑to‑day cash position and execute treasury transactions.
• Prepare short‑term cash‑flow forecasts and provide analysis for decision‑making.
• Assist with foreign‑exchange hedging in line with Treasury policy.
• Support automation and improvement of treasury systems and processes, including the Treasury Management System.
• Contribute to treasury projects, ad‑hoc analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through professional communication.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in treasury, cash management or a related finance function.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required skills

• Experience with Treasury Management Systems.
