TypeScript Software Engineer – FinTech SaaS Platform

About the role

Join a fast‑growing FinTech SaaS company that is rebuilding its flagship platform with modern, cloud‑native technologies and AI‑assisted development. As a TypeScript Software Engineer you will help shape the architecture and deliver scalable, high‑quality software from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React and Next.js.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and micro‑service components.
• Collaborate with the team to define architecture, engineering standards and best practices.
• Leverage Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for deployment and operations.
• Utilise AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate development while ensuring code quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js, React, Next.js, REST APIs and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, micro‑services and cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to solve complex problems, take ownership and work effectively in a collaborative team.
• Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered).
