Venue Finder & Sales Co-ordinator

About the role

InAnyEvent is looking for an enthusiastic Venue Finder & Sales Co-ordinator to join its busy events team in Portishead. The role blends venue research, client relationship management, sales outreach and event support, offering a varied day‑to‑day experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage venue‑finding enquiries from brief to confirmation, including client brief taking and requirement analysis.
• Research, contact and negotiate with venues, securing provisional holds and best rates.
• Produce professional, client‑facing venue proposals and keep clients updated throughout the search.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s bespoke enquiry and CRM systems.
• Follow up with clients after events and handle venue‑related administration, recharges and credit arrangements.
• Make at least 20 outbound sales calls per week and generate four new business appointments each month.
• Research potential new clients, build and maintain relationships, and support promotions and special offers.
• Assist Event Managers with administration, delegate registration using the Eazybook system, and produce client reports.
• Attend exhibitions, networking events and provide on‑site support for events, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, motivated and naturally organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, comfortable speaking to clients, suppliers and making outbound sales calls.
• Customer‑focused with a genuine “can‑do” attitude and ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
• Good negotiator who can work independently while being a collaborative team player.
• Positive, proactive and able to take ownership of tasks.
• Previous experience in venues, hospitality, events or sales is advantageous.
