VP Technology Business Manager - COO Technology Office

About the role

This senior position sits within the Office of the Technology COO at a leading global investment bank in Central London. You will partner closely with the Technology COO and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and alignment of technology with business goals across EMEA and international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, workforce strategy, governance, and communications for the technology function.
• Drive cost optimisation, resource prioritisation, and large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Develop performance frameworks to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Lead workforce planning, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvement activities.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to position technology as a trusted business partner.

Required profile

• Significant experience in technology COO or business management roles within financial services.
• Proven expertise in financial management, workforce strategies, and operational transformation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Results‑oriented mindset with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
