Weld Repair Technician

About the role

K+S Services, a SunSource company, provides industrial repair services across the USA, Canada and Mexico. We are seeking a Weld Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain both non‑automated and robotic welding equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair non‑automated and robotic welders, including Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric models.
• Perform teardown, cleaning, evaluation, repair and testing of welding equipment.
• Document evaluation notes and calculate repair costs based on parts and labor.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
• Create and record test procedures while maintaining a clean weld room and workbench.
• Travel to manufacturer training centers to obtain certification.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and stay on task.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to good housekeeping.
• Willingness to become hi‑lo/crane certified.

Required skills

• Experience with Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric welding systems.
• Proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical prints and wiring schematics.
• Basic computer skills with standard Office applications.
