About the role
Our client, an established and fast‑growing broadband company, is seeking a Wireless Field Engineer to support the Avon/Somerset area. The role involves on‑site work to maintain and expand rural broadband infrastructure, ensuring reliable service for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix site faults and perform site decommissioning.
- Upgrade point‑to‑point (P2P) radio links and install new wireless and FTTP connections.
- Install and configure CAT5/6 cabling, routers and switches.
- Maintain network infrastructure and resolve faults across the covered region.
Required profile
- Proven experience with wireless networks, including fault finding and installation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driving licence.
