Worldwide Travel Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our B2B sales team, specialising in long‑haul holiday packages. You will work with travel agents and trade partners to design and sell worldwide itineraries, providing a high level of customer service while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone enquiries from trade partners and travel agents.
• Create bespoke long‑haul itineraries and quote holidays.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Promote ancillary products such as car hire, excursions, park passes and parking.
• Support the Reservations Service Team by quality‑checking and re‑booking bookings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product and brand knowledge.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Travel Consultant in a tour‑operator or travel‑sales environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Sales‑driven mindset with a focus on achieving monthly targets.
• Familiarity with long‑haul destinations, preferably through personal travel.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with GDS systems, specifically Amadeus or Galileo.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary £26,000‑£28,000 per year plus commission.
• On‑target earnings of £32,000‑£34,000, uncapped.
