About the role
We are seeking a passionate Year 3 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Selly Oak, Birmingham. The role starts on 1 September 2026 and is a full‑time, long‑term position focused on delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver the Year 3 curriculum in line with national standards.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and fellow staff to share best practices.
- Participate in whole‑school initiatives and parent communication.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil progress.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Required skills
- Effective lesson planning and assessment.
- Proficiency in using classroom technology and educational software.
