12‑Month Internship – Medium‑Long‑Term Funding (CASA)

About the role

This 12‑month internship with the Medium Long Term Funding team offers hands‑on exposure to Asset Liability Management and debt capital markets. You will support the front office in structuring bond issuances, managing liquidity, and developing analytical tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing public benchmarks, private placements and hedging swaps, including operational and documentation tasks.
• Help build daily private‑placement targets based on market analysis and dealer dialogue.
• Prepare investor presentations for credit updates and roadshows.
• Support senior management with issuance opportunity recommendations across EUR, USD, GBP and other markets.
• Produce a weekly “Markets Review” for subsidiary financial‑management teams.
• Engage daily with over 20 investment banks across Debt Capital Markets, Syndicates and Swap desks.
• Contribute to internal refinancing deals, liquidity/transfer‑pricing grids, and new borrowing setups.
• Develop and automate market‑monitoring and reporting tools using Python, maintaining the existing database.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) graduated within the past 18 months, with a 2:1 standard or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Quick learner, adaptable, and comfortable working in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus for documentation).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using Bloomberg terminal.
• Solid Python programming skills for data analysis and automation.
