Advanced Nurse Practitioner (up to 36 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly team in Eyemouth. The role involves autonomous assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses within a community practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent clinical assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and manage minor injuries and illnesses.
• Prescribe medication where qualified (independent prescribing preferred).
• Collaborate with GPs and senior staff, receiving mentorship and peer support.
• Contribute to a safe, patient‑centred care environment.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with appropriate clinical training to work autonomously.
• Ability to work up to 36 hours per week across four days.
• Motivated, friendly and able to integrate into a multidisciplinary team.
• Independent prescribing qualification preferred but not essential.

• Independent prescribing (preferred).
• Clinical assessment of minor injuries and illnesses.
