GP Partner / Salaried GP – Hawick Practice

About the role

Teviot Medical Practice in Hawick is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join a friendly, supportive team. The position can be taken as a GP Partner or a Salaried GP, offering flexibility for the right candidate while providing a rewarding clinical environment with excellent work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 6–8 sessions per week of high‑quality primary care.
• Manage a daily schedule of approximately 24 fifteen‑minute appointments.
• Provide minimal house visits and coordinate multidisciplinary support.
• Collaborate with ANPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, FCP and CTAC teams.
• Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training activities.

Required profile

• Qualified GP registered with the appropriate medical board.
• Experience in a community practice setting is desirable.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centred care in a rural environment.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis.
• Prescription management.
• Team collaboration within a multidisciplinary setting.
