About the role

Are you wanting to make a difference for children and young people with special needs? This specialist school in Camberley is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aspiring Social Worker / Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join the team.

Key responsibilities

Assist the class teacher with the learning experience.
Provide dedicated support to pupils with learning, physical, sensory or behavioural challenges.
Build trusted and effective relationships with pupils.
Deliver 1:1 and small‑group support as required.
Follow and implement safeguarding guidelines in the classroom.
Attend staff meetings and complete relevant CPD.
Maintain good communication and a caring approach.
Commute reliably to Camberley.

Required profile

Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
Enhanced DBS or overseas police check where appropriate.
Availability to start in September with trial days.
Commitment to term‑time, Monday‑Friday schedule (08:30‑15:30).

What we offer

PAYE contract, term‑time only.
Competitive daily rate of £93‑£105.
