Associate Consultant – Private Equity Recruitment

About the role

Finatal is seeking a recent graduate (2025 or 2026) to join its high‑performing private‑equity specialist recruitment team as an Associate Consultant. Based in the Piccadilly Circus office, you will work full‑time on a permanent basis, supporting the placement of C‑suite talent across UK and European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and head‑hunt senior executives for permanent and interim roles within private‑equity portfolio companies.
• Build and maintain a personal network of C‑suite candidates across the UK and Europe.
• Source candidates through direct outreach, referrals and advertising.
• Provide market intelligence and consultative insights to both clients and candidates.
• Conduct initial screening calls and manage the full candidate lifecycle.
• Negotiate offers and secure successful placements.
• Continuously develop market expertise and personal brand.

Required profile

• Graduated in 2025 or 2026 and eager to start a career in specialist private‑equity recruitment.
• Thrives in fast‑paced, performance‑driven environments.
• Previous experience in customer‑facing, client‑facing or relationship‑focused roles is preferred.
• Highly organised, proactive, motivated and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communicator who enjoys building professional relationships.
